Irgendwann in der letzten Woche rauschte ein Song durch meine Gehörgänge, der diese aber nicht wieder wirklich verlassen wollte:

Kurzum, ich habe von meiner Frau einfach fix bei cdon.se das Album bestellen lassen und nun läuft hier fast rund um die Uhr dieser einzigartige Sound mit dieser umwerfende Stimme. Wenn mir die Wikipedia dann nicht noch verraten hätte, das Amy gerade einmal junge 21 Jahre ist, dann würde ich das nie glauben. Es gibt nicht wirklich viele gute Stimmen in der heute künstlich gepuschten und gecasteten Musikszene.

Aber Amy Macdonald gehört definitiv zu den Stimmen, von dennen man sich mehr wünscht und heute schon auf das (hoffentlich) zweite Album gespannt ist.

Wobei ich schon einige Zeit damit verbracht und versucht habe, herauszufinden, was mit “Robert Riger and his motley crew” gemeint ist. So wirklich steige ich nicht dahinter, eventuell kann mich jemand einmal erleuchten!

Einen netten Blogbeitrag hat Abagond geschrieben, am coolsten finde ich die Aussage

Ganz so hart möchte ich da nicht urteilen, den auch KT Tunstall hat eine starke Stimme und ihre Songs sind allemal hörenswert!
